I do like how things are looking so far but can't help think that maybe even a little bit of colour somewhere would improve the look of things.

Website
With all the original ideas and designs I have so far I wanted to quickly put them all together in a website, just to see how things would look. I've used the website big cartel.
Logos
I have gathered some images of logos I enjoy as some inspiration for my own.
I wrote a huge list of random words and phrases to try and come up with a brand/company name. I want to keep the brand appealing to both genders. Out of the list my favourite word combination was 'Blackhoney'. So from that word I came up with the following logos.
I also gathered a few more logos I enjoyed but this time they where all low poly designs, something I want to follow up in my own brand/designs/logo.

I'm pretty pleased with how these came out, although I think my next step would be to chose my favourite couple of designs and try and push them further.
A while ago I created these skull designs with the intention of using them for my logo, although this was before I chose the name and now I don't think the skull design would be appropriate. Although I have put them into some other designs I may use for phone covers etc.
Reflection
Reflecting back to my logo work I created for my first year module (not worth posting) it gives me a great sense of achievement looking at my logo work I have created this year. Everything has improved! I've learnt a lot more program skills and how to basically create better more effective looking graphics. Something I'm really excited about and can't wait to continue creating more!

Creating some quick designs on Illustrator

I creating some quick simple designs, mostly using the line tool on illustrator I again put them onto the phone cases to see how they would look. I'm very pleased with these designs although again i'm a little unsure at this stage if the designs need to be pushed further.
Some random resigns I did, surrounding mushrooms. These never went anywhere in this project but I like how they look, I think they look interesting and different. I also was a bit wary of venturing into 'patterns' that weren't necessarily 'patterns'? Rather just shapes put together on a page. Also the second design features a lot of bright colours, something else I havn't ventured too deep in. Colour scares me!
Inspiration
I have gathered some images which I really enjoy and hope to take influence with in my own designs/work.
I've also come across an artist called Raul Alejandro, who creates amazing hand drawn typography designs. I really want to take influence from these works and try to incorporate similar ideas in my own work.
I searched further some similar typography designs which I really enjoy.
Trying new techniques
I discovered the 'image trace' feature on Illustrator and gave it a go with a few drawings/sketches I had done in my sketchbook. I really love this feature and hope to try and use it in my future designs for this project.
The first picture is the original drawing I did in my sketchbook (which was never intended to be anything, was a drawing I did when I was bored), which I then put into illustrator and used the image trace.

The other pictures are the result of the image trace, in a range of different colours, just to test it out.

I then put the designs onto phone cases and a laptop bag, just to see further what the design would look like on certain products.
I think because the design is so simple, it is very effecting when places on these products. Although I'm not sure if I'd rather push my designs further with this project or if it's best to have more 'simple but effective' designs.

I also wanted to try the same technique out but for typography/text I had drawn up for another module, just to see how it turned out.
I again put it over a phone case, I do quite like them although if I used this technique for any future typography type art I'd have to take more care with writing out the text just to help make it even more precise and finished looking. Although I do quite enjoy the 'messy/handwritten' look to the text although I don't think it would fit into the rest of my designs I've so far come up with.
